Hi Parents!
Today we took a pre-test for Chapter 5, which focuses on factors, multiples, and number patterns. Please do not be alarmed if you see low pre-test scores in Think Central. The purpose of the pre-test is to let us know what your child already knows about a topic and to help us form differentiated math groups. Please encourage your child to see their pre-test score as a starting point for improvement.
Tonight's homework is a multiplication puzzle intended to help students review the basic multiplication facts and practice their logical thinking skills. This homework is not in the book, but should be a worksheet found in the take-home folder. We will begin lesson 5.1 tomorrow.
Please don't forget to come out to our PTO Family Night Book Fair tonight. The event will be from 4-6. "Saddle Up and Read" is the theme. We hope to see you here!
