Hi Parents! Tonight's homework is section 2.1. Students are beginning to work on a various ways to represent multiplication problems. Please have them watch the 2.1 lesson video on Think Central for help.
This week in reading, our mentor text is The Man Who Walked Between Towers. We're working on compound sentence, character analysis, and of course, editing skills. In small groups, we will be working on finding evidence in the text and comparing two similar non-fiction texts.
Mrs. Thompson's class will be finishing up their "Regions" Social Studies project, and Mrs. Vermillion's class will be wrapping up the current earth science unit.
