Update 10/19
Hi Parents! Tonight's homework is page l03. We're still learning new ways to multiply multi-digit numbers; please encourage your child to use today's strategy on this assignment. After students have worked with all the the strategies, they'll get to pick their favorite, but until then, we'd like them to at least get experience with all of the different multiplication strategies.
In writing, we've gotten to the end of our personal narrative unit, and students have been publishing by typing on their Google drive. Students who have not been able to finish typing in class were allowed to bring their rough drafts home to work on. Please check with your child to find out if he/she needs to catch up on this at home.
Also please be on the look out for your child's Original Works packet, which will be sent home tomorrow. Students spent some time in art class creating a piece of art, and our PTO is giving you the opportunity to order a copy of this work printed on magnets, aprons, coffee mugs, and lots of other things. These make great gifts and are a wonderful way to support our PTO.
