Hi Parents! Tonight's homework is page 129 in the textbook. Students should be using the regrouping strategy to multiply 3 and 4 digit numbers. We have one more lesson to complete in Chapter 2, which will be taught on Monday, before we begin preparing for our Chapter 2 test. That test will be next Thursday. Please encourage your child to use the online resources in Think Central to practice the concepts in Chapter 2 so that he/she is ready for the test.
Today students were given a permission slip for a study trip that the 4th grade will be taking on November 17. Both classes will be going to the Onslow Co. Environmental Education Center. We need 10 chaperones--5/class--so please let us know if you can help out. All volunteers must have completed the background check and DoD anti-terrorism training!
Don't forget that tomorrow is a no-school day. Enjoy your long weekend!
