Hi Parents!
Tonight's homework is a review worksheet for 2nd quarter math concepts. On Wednesday, students will take a quarterly math assessment, so we thought it would be helpful to practice a few of the skills we've done over the past 9 weeks. Please feel free to help your child as much you he/she needs. We will go over this in class tomorrow.
This week our main project is to finish typing our 5 paragraph reptile reports. Most students have finished their rough drafts, and the typed copy is due no later than Thursday. This will be the final writing grade for 2nd quarter. All reports are being typed in the students' google drives, so your child may type at home, if necessary.
In math, we continue to work with measurement. We've finished talking about the customary units of measure and are now working on the metric units. A test is planned for next week. Also, students who scored below 75% on the Chapter 4 (Part B) test were given test corrections to complete last week. These are due no later than Thursday morning. If corrections are not submitted, the original grade will stand in the gradebook.
