Update 3/19
Hi Parents,
Today's homework is pages 553 and 559 in the textbook. I know this sounds like a lot, but there are only a few questions on each page and they should go very quickly. Geometry is very heavy on vocabulary, so encourage your child to look back into the chapter if he/she is confused.
Please don't forget to return your money and your RSVP for family night Bingo! We hope to see everyone there!
This week in reading, we're working on cause/effect and answering text-dependent questions by citing evidence. In writing, we're continuing with our focus on telling the difference between simple, complex, and compound sentences. All students should have turned in their persuasive letter via google at this point, and we'll be beginning a new writing project in the coming weeks.
In Science, we have about one more week of investigating our creatures. We're finishing up with Isopods on Wednesday and will move on to FISH! By the middle of next week, we should be shifting back to Social Studies.
